McCandless Township Office Serving the Northern Suburbs of Pittsburgh J. E. "ED" Hall, Owner Ed Hall has lived in McCandless Township since July 1979. He spent more than 30 years with a Fortune 500 Corporation and worked in a variety of financial and accounting areas. During this time he held management positions at the division level, at two Subsidiaries and at Corporate Headquarters. In 1995, Ed opened his Padgett Business Services office to assist small owner operated businesses. This office defines small business to mean a business with 20 or fewer employees (including zero employees) and is in a retail or a service business. Education Ed Hall has Bachelor of Science in Business degree, with a Major in Accounting. During his time in the Corporate World he also earned a Master of Business Administration degree. Since opening the Padgett Business Services office in 1995, Ed has earned a Master of Science in Taxation degree. In addition, he passed the two day (16 hours) test given by the Internal Revenue Service and thereby received his Certificate of Enrollment and the designation of "Enrolled Agent". As a federally licensed tax practitioner Ed may represent taxpayers before the IRS. This means that clients will usually be located within parts of the City of Pittsburgh and north to Zelienople.
